Narcolepsy e-Patient Keynote to over 1,000 Healthcare Leaders at Health:Further Summit
I’m so honored to be a keynote speaker at Health:Further Summit in Nashville, TN on August 23-24, where I’ll join the stage with industry leaders to talk innovation and advanced solutions for the biggest issues facing healthcare.
For this audience of healthcare executives and innovators, I’ll debut a new speech called, In Sickness or Health? Breaking Down Barriers and Stereotypes for Patients with Chronic Conditions. This talk aims to provide an eye-opening look at living with chronic, invisible and neurological conditions, while also inspiring attendees to partner closely with e-patients in building the future for healthcare, together.
Presenting an e-patient perspective and raising awareness of narcolepsy on the big stage of Music City Center’s Grand Ballroom is a huge honor and opportunity. This is also a major milestone in my speaking career with the audience size being my biggest yet. 😯 I must admit, I am a tad nervous, but working extremely hard to prepare a kick-ass speech that I hope will make the narcolepsy and e-patient communities proud.
Special thanks to my MedX colleague and fellow Health:Further keynote speaker, Dennis Boyle, (partner and a founding member of IDEO) for believing in me and recommending me for this amazing speaking opportunity. Likewise, a HUGE thank you to Health:Further producer, Andre Blackman for recognizing the importance of the patient perspective and reserving a highly-coveted keynote space for an e-patient speaker!
