My heart jumped out of my chest when I received the news. I read the official IRS determination letter about 20 times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. I could hardly believe it, my long-time dream is now a beautiful (and IRS-approved) reality!

Yet this is only the beginning – an exciting first step toward opening people’s eyes to sleep health and sleep disorders so that one day, no one will lose their livelihood drowning in undiagnosed sleepiness. So that people suffering with sleepiness are no longer discarded as lazy, depressed or drug-abusing all-night party animals. We deserve better. Screen shot 2014-07-23 at 8.35.03 PMProject Sleep aims to make sleep cool, current and accessible to everyday people. Our initial focus programs are the SLEEP WALK signature event series and the NARCOLEPSY: NOT ALONE international awareness campaign. Our new website will launch soon, and our first SLEEP WALK TAMPA BAY will take place on August 31, 2014. Stay tuned for exciting updates.

In closing, thank you to everyone who has stood by my side and rallied with me for a brighter future. Your stories have touched my heart and inspired me to continue on this path – full-speed ahead. Your support and kindness mean the world to me. I’m forever grateful.
