Pausing to Say I Love You: Guest Post by Michelle Hemingway
REM Runner’s Note: I met Michelle at my first NN Conference five years ago and we’ve remained dear friends ever since. In this post, Michelle describes participating in the NARCOLEPSY: NOT ALONE campaign.
Michelle’s Guest Post:
I was honored to participate in the Narcolepsy: Not Alone campaign. And that is exactly how my family and friends felt when I asked them to help my friend Julie with her project. At first, I felt a little silly with my request with the group photo. But silly is good! We laughed a lot, and there were even a few tears. Taking the photos reminded us all how meaningful their support and understanding truly is to me. It was an opportunity to pause, appreciate, and say ‘I love you’!

Thank you to Michelle and her amazing supporters of Sturbridge, MA for joining this campaign!
Friendships in PWN make you realize that you are not alone, it is a great message.
I never met Michelle but was in contact with her and lost contact with her. I think that I really want to do this NARCOLEPSY NOT ALONE with my friends and family, because without them I don’t know what I would
