Narcolepsy Article Accepted for Publication by American Journal of Medicine
I’m on PubMed! I’m thrilled to announce that the American Journal of Medicine accepted my article for publication, Flygare J, Parthasarathy S, Narcolepsy: Let the Patient’s Voice Awaken Us!, The American Journal of Medicine (2014), doi: 10.1016/j.amjmed.2014.05.037.
I was honored to collaborate with Dr. Sai Parthasarathy, MD on this article. Dr. Parthasarathy is Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Sleep Disorders at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is also the Chair of NIH’s Sleep Disorder Research Advisory Board (SDRAB), where I currently serve as a Board Member.
This was an empowering project, as Dr. Parthasarathy truly believes in elevating the patient’s voice to improve care in the medical community. In this article, we aimed to reach primary care medical professionals and we are thrilled that the American Journal of Medicine has accepted our article for publication.
